A TRIBUTE TO SANDRA
This is for you sweet friend
In memory of a dear friend
“My dear friend, if you were still with us, you would have been part of this journey with me, rooting for me and encourging every step I took to get to this point. So much of this journey has been influenced by your passing and in the smallest way, I wanted to leave a piece of you for all to remember.
While I continue my journey on earth without you, I can only pray that every person that heals – through God’s enduring compassion and by using ‘Nature Me New’, – would be a tribute to your life. I so often think of our chats, laughter and planning for the future.
Your journey ended earlier than we hoped, but your life was not for nothing.”
Sandra was a dear friend, I met her in high school and due to her bravery and heart full of compassion for her friends,
she made a call to me in January of 2006, that ultimately changed my life forever. Through Sandra’s actions, I met my husband and have the incredible family I have today.
In a terrible ironic set of circumstances, Sandra tragically lost her life to pancreatitis ( the same disease that started my health journey) , just before her 35th birthday.
Through her death, I was once again reminded that despite the drastic advancement of conventional medicine in the last few decades, it remains a form of medicine that often fails to get to the root cause of a problem, and ultimately this can lead to premature death of loved ones and friends, despite the best efforts of the most talented Drs.
‘Nature Me New’ was known as ‘Hope Moves’ before Sandras untimely death, and it was due to her death, that I decided to go all the way into the functional medicine world. I have made many a sacrifice to study and grow myself so that no one else has to pass away from diseases that are not only preventable but certainly reversable if treated in an early functional and integrated way.
Sandra, this is as much for you as it is for the world, but in saying so, this is ultimately a tribute to God’s goodness in my life and may many a life be changed because of it!
